Desiccated Sweetness Ltd is a women-led company based in Nyamira county, Kenya. Desiccated Sweetness deals in the processing of dried fruits and vegetables. We are an end-to-end fruit processing company, transforming otherwise wasted fresh fruits and vegetables into high-value products and inputs for the Fast-moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
We aim to create food security by reducing and eventually eradicating post-harvest losses of fruits and vegetables by ensuring fruits and vegetables that could have otherwise been wasted are processed into dried products, with a longer shelf life.
Our main products are mango flakes, pineapple flakes, spinach powder, orange-fleshed sweet potato flour, yellow flesh sweet potato flour, pumpkin flour and butternut squash flour.
Our vision is to become the leading dried fruit and vegetable processing company in Africa.
Our mission is to end seasonal food insecurity in the country by offering post-harvest food processing solutions to fruit and vegetable farmers.
